As a proud Anaiwan man from Wonnarua Country in Maitland NSW. Birdy is a veteran NRL player having represented Cronulla Sharks & Gold Coast Titans in the NRL , also serving a brief stint at the Catalans Dragons in France. Gregs proudest sporting achievements include breaking the NSW Blues origin drought 2014, Australian Kangaroos world cup victory 2013 & the Indigenous All-Stars cultural experience.

After calling time on his playing career Greg pursued many successful entrepreneurial ventures that are first nations focused creating numerous jobs and opportunities.
It is through his time in the NRL spotlight and successful entrepreneurial approach that now sees Greg able to achieve real world outcomes his people in areas of homelessness, business and societal disadvantage. Some notable achievements that Greg has been a part of are:

• Built and sold a successful health food cafe, BSKT Cafe
• Build and operation of corporate furniture removal business which diverts from landfill and gives back to charities and community organisations.
• 18 year professional rugby league career playing over 300 matches and 40 representative fixtures.

When asked what Greg hopes for the future of First Nations Insurance Group he states “I’m here to make a change and I feel very strongly that First Nations Insurance Group can be a great vessel for change and give back to community.
