Aron Kurzydlo

As a proud Aboriginal man from Kamilaroi Country in NSW. Aron brings a wealth of knowledge to First Nations Insurance Group from his background/experience working as a director across operations management, rehabilitation/rectification and town transition in both NSW and Federal Government roles as well as corporate, property and financial sectors.

With an extensive knowledge & experience in sustainability, social impact, procurement and
partnerships as well as Aboriginal Affairs. Aron prides himself on sharing and delivering
Aboriginal culture and safety knowledge and working towards closing the gap.

Aron also achieved his Bachelors degree from Charles Sturt University focused in Criminal
Justice/Law from as well as completing numerous Business Management and Aboriginal Affairs and Cultural Competency training throughout his career.

During Aron’s career he has successfully built a number of businesses, developed property and most recently been a part of building a 100% Indigenous owned business which diverts furniture from landfill whilst giving back to local Indigenous communities. Aron has provided mentoring to young Indigenous employees and continues to support up and coming Indigenous entrepreneurs for self determination. Proudly attending events to support and advise for Closing the Gap.

In his spare time Aron enjoys spending time with his 5 almost 6 children. When asked what Aron hopes for the future of First Nations Insurance Group he states “the growth of FNIG is going to open up and give us more opportunities to support our Indigenous community not only through
insurance but by way of community involvement and support to our grass roots community support services”.
